On Thursday 9th November BOPP Managing Director Andrew Botham joined Peak Performance in Belfast where delegates were introduced to the benefits of BOPP and its potential to be integral to modern Accountancy Practice life over the next 5-10 years. This is the second year of the Peak Performance, Practice Development Program, run by Paul Shrimpling from Remarkable Practice, the first group having been introduced to BOPP in 2016.
The event was attended by Accountancy practice owners, partners and directors from across the UK who are looking to improve their Accountancy practices ahead of HMRC introducing Making Tax Digital (MTD) within the next couple of years and in light of other changes that Accountancy practices are currently facing. Practice owners appreciated the strong link to MTD and saw significant potential to grow both their own practice income and improve their clients business performance too. The delegates were invited to the next BOPP workshop which takes place on Thursday 15 February 2018 at the Holiday Inn, Birmingham Airport and whilst they have taken most of the places there are still one or two left at the time of reporting, please contact us if you’d like to come along.
Andrew enjoyed the hospitality offered by Peak including the Guinness tasting session at the Crown pub, reported to be the oldest in Belfast and is now looking forward to joining Douglas Aitken and Paul Shrimpling for the final year of the practice development program which will start in early 2018.
